Founded by George Cook of CV Investment Properties in the spring of 2010, the Walkertown Networking group is free to join for any business that provides goods or services in the area, and is not a competitor of an existing member company.  There is an optional nominal annual fee for members to be featured on the group’s website. The group holds meetings two times per month, every month.

The goal of the group is to learn about, inspire, and promote local businesses in the area by talking comfortably about the benefits of member companies to potential customers in need of their goods or services. The difference between this group and others that you may have visited, is that every member cares about the other businesses in the group as much as they care about their own. They care enough to listen. They care enough to make quality referrals that will not only benefit the member company providing the service, but the people receiving the service.

There is no quota of referrals to make, but we all make referrals regularly. Members come to meetings on-time and regularly.  If a member can’t be at a meeting, they notify other members or send a coworker in their place. Attendance is a reflection of how you do business.  Our members care about their business reputation, and stand behind that reputation week after week, day after day. It is who they are.

Not surprisingly, the members that gave the most referrals, also received the most.
